“The Musicians’ Emergency Relief Fund has come to my aid twice: once in 2009 when I had unexpected open-heart surgery, massive doctors’ bills and lost income for three months, and more recently when I had two minor surgeries and had to miss several weeks of work.

“Both times, the ERF’s Musicians’ Assistance Program provided me not only with direct financial assistance, but also referrals to other organizations for additional assistance, such as the Actors’ Fund.  In addition, and just as importantly, ERF gave me emotional support and guidance.“
